UM engine devlog #1


The first UM engine devlog is here!

UM is going to be a simple, easy to use, probbaly code based game engine made with c++ and opengl. It's going to be targeted towards begginers at code-based game development. It will also have bindings to other languages like phyton, c#, java, rust, ect.

So jesterday  i started folowing The Cherno's tutorial series for using opengl with c++. I allready got a basic renderer going, and can draw triangles and squares on any position and any size. But the problem is, that the code is lekaing about 500mb ram per minute, so i will need to optimize evereything. When i will finish with the optimization and complete the renderer, i will publish it to itch and inform you guys about it.
